The Main Fashion Trends on the Streets of Italy

Once again, we express our deep love for streetstyle and the extraordinary ideas inspired by the looks of fashionistas. After London, our journey moved south to the fashion capital of Italy—Milan. We traditionally took a peek at the streets of the city to highlight the interesting stylings for this autumn.

While guests at the previous Fashion Week had already pulled out their warm outerwear, Milan's streetstyle stars showcased combinations ideal for the changing September weather, when the mornings and evenings are cool, yet the heat still lingers during the day. Lightweight trench coats, knitted vests, blazers, button-up cardigans, and cozy sweaters became the perfect choice for this season. However, there were also fashionistas who opted for long, oversized coats, trendy suede jackets, and vintage leather jackets with a distressed look.

The ladies couldn't overlook the officecore trend, so many outfits featured pencil skirts, classic palazzo pants, basic white shirts, striped blazers, low-heeled pumps, and geek chic glasses with clear lenses. When it comes to accessory trends, oversized clutches, sunglasses, high socks—either semi-transparent or colorful—baseball caps, collars, and wide belts took the spotlight.

We also noted some interesting color combinations. The most popular shade was burgundy, which was no surprise. Some guests opted for total red looks, while others spiced up basic outfits with bright colors. Besides dark red, fashionistas gravitated toward brown, beige, khaki, gray, and sky blue, which carried over from the previous season.
