How we grade Luxury Handbags

The assessment of luxury handbags involves evaluating their condition, considering factors such as overall quality, signs of wear, smell, indications of damage, and usage. While the evaluation criteria may vary slightly depending on the platform or company, here are general guidelines we follow when offering a new item in our Handbag Sense. To ensure that the bag you ordered fully meets your expectations, we determine the condition of each bag before listing it in our catalog. We provide a numerical condition grade to give you a better understanding of its condition.

We grade the condition of each bag from 1 to 6:

Grade 1: This bag is brand new and unworn, comes with all accessories. Protective plastics and the original packaging are intact. 

Grade 2: This bag could be considered as like-new, comes with all accessories. It may have been worn a few times; most protective plastics are intact.

Grade 3: This bag is in excellent condition. There are only minor condition notes, protective plastics may have been removed.

Grade 4: This item is in very good condition, showing slight signs of use. 

Grade 5: This item shows normal wear and tear from regular or heavy use. The item is in good, usable condition but has condition notes. 

Grade 6: This item may require restoration or repair. It is considered in acceptable condition.
