About

On the 30th of April, the world saw the new office of the famous brand Jacquemus, located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. This fashion catwalk opened its doors and shared exclusive interior and exterior shots. The new office reflects the core aesthetic and signature DNA of the brand, which is known for its creative approach to fashion and aesthetics.

For this project, the brand's designer Simon Porte Jacquemus joined forces with a team of architects and designers from OMA Studio, who previously worked on the renovation of Tiffany & Co's flagship shop in New York. Their collaboration resulted in a space that is striking with minimalist details and artwork.

The main sculpture for the office was L'Air (2e état), created by French artist Aristide Maillol between 1938 and 1939. This sculpture, depicting a nude woman lying on a pedestal, became the centrepiece of the space. In addition, three other paintings by this artist can be found inside, which add a special charm and aesthetic value to the space.

When decorating the space, a white veil was used to symbolise Simon Jacquemus' latest wedding collection, creating an atmosphere of lightness and romance. The office also includes work areas for employees, creative workshops and aesthetic corners for relaxation.

The overall design of the space reflects the core values of the Jacquemus brand and embodies its unique aesthetic. This new office is another step in the development and establishment of the brand on the global fashion scene.

A white dress is a symbol of purity, elegance and sophistication that wins the hearts of fashionistas all over the world. The spring-summer season invites us to rethink the classic little black dress and pay attention to white dresses, which are becoming the most versatile trend this year. Let's figure out together why a white dress has become a must-have in a spring wardrobe and how to style it in a stylish way.

First, let's look at the models offered by global brands this season. These can be either minis, ideal for warm spring days, or midi or maxi lengths made of light and airy fabrics. It is worth noting that designers play with shapes, textures and fabrics, giving white dresses a unique look. From translucent models to knitted or decorated with lace, there are many options.

In addition, on the catwalks this season we can see white dresses with voluminous details such as ruffles, feathers or fringes, which add romance and playfulness to the look. Designers also resort to such a popular technique this year as draping, creating dresses that resemble the clothes of Greek goddesses.

As for the styling methods, there are a variety of approaches to apply. You can create a total white look by combining a white dress with other white items, or add basic shades such as black accessories or shoes. Bright additions, such as red shoes or a yellow bag, also look impressive. The combination ‘white dress + metallic details’, which was shown on the Versace catwalks, looks no less elegant.

Thus, a white dress is not only a fashion trend, but also a versatile wardrobe staple that can create a unique look in any situation. Choose your perfect model and wear it with courage and style, following our tips. Let your white dress become a real highlight of your spring wardrobe!

Oversize is a term that is known and loved by many fashionistas and fashionistas. It means a large, loose cut of clothing that wins hearts with its comfort and style. However, unless certain rules are followed, choosing and wearing oversize can be a daunting task. Let's understand how to choose and wear this type of clothing correctly to look stylish and harmonious.

Pay attention to your proportions. The clothes you choose should be proportionate to your body. For example, if you have petite appearance lines, when choosing an oversize coat or shirt, don't go overboard with the size. Remember the golden rule of proportion.

Choose items with an appropriate cut. The size of the garment should match your height and figure. If you choose a loosely cut shirt or jumper, make sure it fits your figure without being too big.

Choose the right size. To make your look look harmonious, choose clothes only a half or one size larger than your usual size. Don't exaggerate with sizing, especially if you are a size large.

Balance the volumes. To avoid the look of an overly voluminous look, combine oversize pieces with those that have a more fitted cut. For example, if you have a large oversize jacket, you can pair it with skinny jeans or a skirt.

Choose specialised items. It is important to choose clothes that are specifically designed as oversize, not to increase the size of ordinary things. Only in this way will you achieve the desired effect. Oversize can be a good choice to create a fashionable and stylish look. Remember these tips and experiment with your style to find the best option for yourself. I wish you successful experiments with oversize and always look stylish and unique!

This season, the fashion world has conquered prints! From floral motifs to animalistic patterns, designer collections are just brimming with variety and creativity.

Floral motifs are an essential part of a spring wardrobe. They add tenderness and femininity, and this season they are presented in all their glory in the collections of such famous brands as Erdem, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Chanel. Is there anything better than wearing flowers to look fresh and elegant?

The opposite of floral prints are animalistic patterns, which are back on trend this season. Leopard print is particularly popular and famous brands such as Celine, Nina Ricci and Jil Sander have featured it in their collections. You can't avoid the looks when you wear this sophisticated and bold print!

And what about striping? This season it has been given a new life thanks to Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton and Victoria Beckham. A striped print is always elegant and stylish, a great choice for any look.

Now on to social media, where fashion influencers are showing off their best print stylisations. They favour a variety of patterns, from miniature flowers to abstract ornaments.

Floral prints are mostly used to create looks with dresses, suits and outerwear. Pastel tones dominate the selection, but contrasting colours are also popular, adding brightness and saturation.

Leopard trousers are this season's must-have! They perfectly combine with different tops and create stylish and bold images. In addition, animalistic print can be found on trench coats, bags and blouses.

And to create elegant looks, add striped shirts or longsleeves to your wardrobe. They go well with classic trousers or jeans, adding charm and style to your look.

So, this season of prints is a real extravaganza of colours and motifs! Let yourself experiment, combining different patterns and creating unique looks that attract the eyes and express your personality.

The world of fashion knows many outstanding personalities who have made an invaluable contribution to its development, demonstrating its diversity and versatility. And among the thousands of names, Jean-Paul Gaultier - the designer who is called the ‘enfant terrible’ (‘bad boy’) of French fashion - stands out. In a career spanning 50 years, his inventiveness and out-of-the-box ideas led him to introduce many sensational inventions that subverted conventional ideas about clothing; to collaborate with prominent people from a wide range of fields, including Madonna; and to contribute to the promotion of gender norms and the health of the queer community.

In 2020, the designer stepped away from his eponymous Jean Paul Gaultier brand, but his creations continue to live on and inspire, and we still remember them today. Today, on Jean Paul Gaultier's birthday, let's remember his journey, creativity and exceptional designs.

Childhood and first fascination with fashion

Gaultier's love for fashion began in his early years. He spent a lot of time with his grandmother, who influenced the origin of the guy's passion for this case. Jean-Paul later said that his grandmother was more ‘curious’ than his mother, and it was thanks to her that he found inspiration for future creations. She allowed him to observe her counselling sessions to improve the health of local people and often advised people to refresh their wardrobe during the sessions, because clothes have a great influence on our condition as well. This is how Gaultier realised in his early years the role fashion can play in life. It was then that he became acquainted with corsets, which were plentiful in his grandmother's wardrobe. It was they who later inspired the designer to create his iconic models.

Even then, the future fashion designer began sewing. At 13, he made an outfit for a toy bear Nana, among which was a cone-shaped bodice - a design that became one of the most iconic in Gaultier's career. Subsequently, the boy presented the first collections of clothes for his mother and grandmother.

Work at Pierre Cardin

At the age of eighteen, without any professional education, Jean-Paul began to send his own sketches to French designers in the hope that they could hire him. So began the story of the guy with Pierre Cardin, who was the first to see his talent and arranged his assistant. After a year of work with the designer Jean-Paul took a break to work with Jean Patou, but later returned to Cardin. Thanks to this experience, the guy was able to compare the work of the two professionals and highlight for himself the main features that he would like to develop in his own projects. In 1974-1976 Gaultier already managed Pierre Cardin boutique in Manila and created women's collections of the brand for the American market.

Founding his own brand

In 1976, together with his business partner Francis Menouge, who also became Jean Paul's greatest love, the designer founded the eponymous brand Jean Paul Gaultier and presented the first collection. Since then, Gaultier has declared himself as a distinctive and innovative fashion designer who redefines traditional ideas of fashion. His creations stood out for their eccentricity and rebelliousness.

From the very beginning of his career, Gaultier was not afraid to go against the current and challenge established norms. His collections were often epathetic but delighted the public with their originality and boldness. He used unusual materials such as rubbish bags and tins, created provocative images that blurred gender boundaries and was not shy about breaking taboos.

Blurring gender boundaries

Gaultier is also known for his contribution to the blurring of gender boundaries in fashion. He repeatedly used male models in women's clothing and vice versa, challenging traditional notions of what men and women wear.

One of the most famous examples of this was the ‘Et Dieu Créa l'Homme’ show in 1987, where men appeared on the catwalk in skirts, kilts and other elements of women's wardrobe. This show became a real sensation and made many people think about stereotypes about gender and fashion.

Collaboration with Madonna

In 1990 Gaultier had the happy opportunity to collaborate with one of the most famous singers in the world - Madonna. He designed over 350 costumes for her for her ‘Blond Ambition’ world tour. These costumes, including the famous cone bra, have become iconic and have forever etched Gaultier's name in pop culture history.

Influence on fashion

Gaultier's influence on the fashion world can hardly be overestimated. He not only created many unforgettable collections, but also challenged established norms, blurred gender boundaries and inspired a new generation of designers. His work continues to inspire and delight people around the world, and Gaultier himself is rightly regarded as one of the greatest designers of the 20th century.

Final years

In 2020, Jean Paul Gaultier announced the end of his career. He said goodbye to fashion with a grand show in which he presented the best designs of his 50-year career. Although Gaultier no longer creates new collections, his work continues to live on and inspire. He has left us an invaluable legacy that will influence the fashion world for many years to come.

In the world of fashion, bags come in a huge variety of shapes, sizes and colours, and this can be confusing even for a seasoned shopaholic. However, I have some tips for you to avoid getting lost in this maze.

Let's start with the basics: understanding your lifestyle, needs and preferences. If you need to carry a lot of things with you, pay attention to voluminous models, such as shopper or hobo bags. However, it is important that a large bag is well structured.

Don't forget that the size of the bag should be suitable for your daily needs. There is no point in choosing large models if you carry a minimum of things. It's important to analyse the main characteristics, such as texture, colour and zipper, and adjust the model to your own needs.

Next, you should pay attention to your style. If you are a fan of romantic style, choose light and bright bags. If you prefer drama or grunge, you'll want to go for active and massive models.

It is also important to consider your height and proportions. Accordingly, choose bags that suit your height to create a harmonious look.

Don't forget about the quality of the materials. Bags made of genuine leather or suede always remain relevant and serve for a long time.

In addition, I recommend paying attention to clutches, bowling bags and bonbonniere bags, which can add originality to your wardrobe.

A classic of the genre is a medium structured shoulder bag. This versatile accessory fits easily into any wardrobe.

Pay attention to your personal needs and choose bags that suit you.

The main trends in the fashion world for spring and summer 2024 fascinate with the variety and elegance of dresses. Designers recreate new concepts of this essential wardrobe item in different styles, offering a wide range of models for all tastes and conditions. This season, special attention is focused on tenderness, elegance and the ability to emphasise femininity.

One of the key trends is draping, which gives the dresses a smooth silhouette and inspiration from ancient marble sculptures. The choice of fabrics and colours is important: from light, pastel shades for delicate looks to bright colours or leather for more expressive styles. Brands such as Jacquemus, Givenchy, Acne Studios, Chloé, Versace and JW Anderson embody this trend in their collections.

Animal prints, in particular leopard prints, are becoming popular again. They add boldness and elegance to the look. You can combine such dresses with basic accessories or choose bright accents. In addition to leopard, the collections include zebra, giraffe, crocodile and snake prints. Floral motifs are also in trend, especially roses, which are often found in the collections of Simone Rocha and Alexander McQueen.

Transparent fabrics are another prominent trend. Dresses made of such materials add a touch of glamour and sexuality to the look. Although they are more often associated with red carpets, they are also suitable for evening outings. You can also combine them with sexy lingerie or a mini dress.

Sleeveless balloon dresses are distinguished by their pomp and elegance. They add tenderness to the image, and the absence of accessories emphasises the collarbone and shoulders. This style is embodied in the collections of such brands as Altuzarra, Balmain and Dion Lee.

Fringe is another trend that adds texture and playfulness to the look. It is presented on dresses in different variations: short or long, bright or muted colours, which allows you to create unique looks.

White dresses this season are presented in different styles and made of different materials, from knitwear to leather. They are displayed in delicate and fresh colours that add sophistication and lightness to the look. This trend is combined with other fashionable elements such as drapery, sheer fabrics or fringe.

All these trends make this season's dresses the most expressive and elegant. They give every woman the opportunity to choose a model that best expresses her style and personality.

New trends in the fashion world emphasise the diversity and versatility of trouser suits as an essential wardrobe item. They embody a modern view of style and comfort in everyday life, allowing you to create unique looks for any occasion.

The world's fashionistas have shown a penchant for oversized suits, which, despite their oversized fit, add elegance and masculine inspiration to the look. These models are successfully combined with more feminine shoes, such as pointed-toe pumps. In addition, massive clutches and black sunglasses of various shapes are used with great enthusiasm, adding a stylish finish to the look.

Considerable attention is also paid to the choice of fabrics. Some fashionistas prefer corduroy trouser suits in bright shades, such as green or metallic. This encourages experimentation with textures and colours, allowing you to create an original look. Equally important is the ability to play with contrasts, add accents to basic suits and create new looks with bags, shoes and jewellery.

Such pantsuits become an expression of individuality and style, allowing every fashionista to feel confident and elegant in any situation. They have become not just a wardrobe item, but a true fashion symbol that reflects modern trends and an individual approach to style.

Zendaya's look of the day impresses with its unsurpassed style and originality, as the actress once again demonstrates her ability to surprise and interest the audience. After the spectacular images from the Dune 2 world tour, Zendaya is back in the spotlight, this time with her striking look at the premiere of The Rivals. In collaboration with her stylist Low Roach, she creates spectacular looks that impress with their originality and style.

She is able to surprise every day, and each new look is fresh and exciting. Zendaya always chooses her outfits with special attention, because each choice should emphasise her personality and set off the theme of the event. For example, at the premiere of The Rivals, a tennis film, she chose a breathtaking white Thom Browne dress, where every detail reflected the aesthetics of the sport.

In London, Zendaya appeared in a mesmerising silver dress with a pleated bottom, but the main focus was on her shoes - white Loewe pumps with tennis balls that created a unique accent in her look. And we can't help but recall her stylish look in Sydney, where Zendaya appeared in a long green Loewe dress, where she was again able to recreate the atmosphere of tennis thanks to the print in the form of a tennis player with a racket.

Each of Zendaya's looks is not only a chosen outfit, but also an art of self-expression, a reflection of her inner world and artistic preferences. Her style always remains in the spotlight, and each new look is a fresh dose of inspiration for fashion and style fans.
